21st ANNUAL RICK LINK INVITATIONAL WRESTLING TOURNAMENT
	
Welcome to the 21st annual Rick Link wrestling tournament held at Union Local High School. 
Participating teams this year are: Union Local, Barnesville, Geneva, Indian Creek, Buckeye Local, Paden City, Fort Frye, Beallsville, Linsly, Weirton Madonna, Edison, Wirt County, Meadowbrook, Bridgeport,Shenandoah, River, and Tri-Valley. 

The format will be a pool style tourney with each weight’s pools being determined at the close of the entry window. We will do our best time wise to give all wrestlers 5 matches. 
If a weight class is not full we will insert JV wrestlers to fill up brackets. Breaks between rounds will be minimal.  

Date: Saturday, December 7, 2019

Price: $150.00 per team of 5 or more or $25 per wrestler if 4 or less wrestlers on a team. 
There will be no other prorated fee.

Starting Times: The first round will start ASAP after weigh-ins, NO EARLIER THAN 9:30 am.  
Each following round will take approximately two hours. We will run the rounds as soon as 
possible after the previous round is done. Finals will start ASAP, approximately 30-45 minutes 
after the final round.
 
WEIGH-INS: 8:00 am Saturday, December 7th ----- BY TEAM
Coaches:  Note, no crock pots, cookers/roasters, etc will be permitted. Thanks!
 Seeding Meeting: There will be no seed meeting. Seeding will be based on Baum’s Page 
criteria.

Entries: All entries will be made through Baum’s Page. Entry Window Opens Monday 
12/2/2019 at 11:00am. Entry Window Closes Thursday 12/5/2019 at 9:00pm. Include all JV 
wrestlers. Wrestlers will NOT be allowed to change weight classes after the entry window closes. 

IF YOUR LINEUP IS NOT ENTERED AT THE CLOSE OF THE ENTRY WINDOW YOUR 
TEAM WILL NOT BE ENTERED! 


 Awards: First and second place team, Outstanding Wrestler, and 1st -4th  place weight class awards will be presented.


******* MAKE SURE you check your alpha weights before the seeding meeting. You must 
bring a state weigh in sheet printed from your alpha website to the tournament. This will also 
allow you to make sure that each wrestler is legal. ***********
